Professional Associations

A qualified practitioner should have both training and experience, with certification showing the level of achievement.
They should:

1.Have trained to the standards defined by the relevant awarding bodies core curriculum.

2.Be a member of a professional association and abide by a Code of Conduct and Ethics.

3.Be fully insured to practice.

The designated letters awarded by the various professional bodies are an indication of the qualification and standards achieved.
