When choosing the right course for your requirements you should consider:

Training Staff

Make sure that the staff who’ll be teaching you have at least three to five years clinical experience and ideally, though not essential, teaching qualifications. Teaching is a skill in itself.

Student Numbers

Smaller classes are better. Make sure that there won’t be more than 12 students to a teacher.

Breadth of Knowledge

Find out what is covered in each module, for example how many different types of massage are covered. Anatomy and physiology needs to cover the skin, the skeletal/muscular system, the respiratory system, the nervous and endocrine systems as well as many common disorders of these systems.

Supervised Practice

Look at opportunities for supervised clinical experience – how much practice will you get?

Assessment

Some people are better with coursework; others prefer a written exam. Make sure the balance is the most appropriate for you.
Visit the college – talk to students and try to sit in on a class before signing up for any course.

Accredited Short Courses in London, Glasgow & UK

Our training courses are ideal should you wish to run a private practice as a self-employed or mobile therapist. If however you intend to work within a salon or spa, particularly in central London (UK), you should ensure that our course diplomas are accepted by the establishment for which you wish to work. We also advise that you contact your local district council to find out what compliance may be required for you to practice as a therapist.

Our professional therapy training courses are delivered as 1 or 2 day intensives. Students both receive and conduct supervised delivery of therapy. Diplomas are awarded upon successful completion of the course and posted within 5 working days. Our Home Learning Courses have been created complete with fully illustrated and annotated training manuals. Students are required to complete a test, client form and case studies. Upon successful completion students are awarded our accredited Therapy Training School Diploma.

Our Diploma courses are accredited by the Guild of Beauty & Holistic Therapists and The International Natural Healers Association. Our courses are also recognised by many complementary therapy organisations and insurance companies allowing successful students to practice professionally with confidence and integrity.
