Smoothing Knots

Smoothing Knots
Smoothing Knots
It’s a common misconception that deep tissue massage is just for sports professionals. My clients come for a wide variety of reasons:
• to relieve stress
• treat a specific muscle group as a result of sports injury
• treatment from an injury sustained from a car crash, such as whiplash
• assist in correcting poor posture that are a result of bad postural habits due to work or lifestyle
• assist in alleviating symptoms or treat long term (chronic) medical conditions
• provide an early detection system in athletes of injury; both amateur and professional athletes benefit from regular massage to identify and treat muscle tension and weakness to prevent injury and optimise performance
I provide a comprehensive deep tissue massage service, combining a number of techniques to treat and alleviate immediate symptoms. Longer term, I work with my clients to maintain a better range of movement and therefore better quality of life.

Smoothing Knots

I came to Smoothing Knots for seated acupressure and mentioned the tight calf\\\'s I had been getting consistently since recently embarking on a 5k training programme for the race for life. One session and some advice regarding long term stretching and I can run again. Thanks you Vicci
